Franz Peter Schubert Was Born 31 January 1797 In Lichtental Near Vienna. The Young Austrian Received His First Musical Education From His Dad, Who Gave Him Violin And Piano Lessons. At The Age Of 11, Schubert Became A Choirboy At The Seminar School Of St. Stephen’S Cathedral. From 1817 On, Schubert Lived In Vienna, Where He Was Working As A Freelance Artist. However, He Had Some Financial Problems, Living Together With Friends And Other Artists Under Difficult Conditions. During This Time Schubert Showed Said Friends His Newest Compositions. Some Of His Acquaintances Were Moritz Von Schwind, Franz Grillparzer And Franz Lachner. Franz Peter Schubert Died Of Typhus At The Age Of 31, Leaving Behind An Extensive Legacy Of Sonatas, Songs And Symphonies.
