The Attractive Modern Art Sculpture “Seated Woman With Upraised Arms” Was Created By The Famous French-American Sculptor Gaston Lachaise. It Is A Female Nude Bronze That Shows A Sitting Woman On A Small Post. The Scenery Seems Unnatural, Because The Woman Has Strange Proportioned Limbs And Parts Of The Body. The Whole Body Appears To Be Pinned Together And Consists Of Geometric Parts. With The Exaggerated Female Body Parts, Such As The Voluptuous Breasts, Hips And Thighs, Lachaise Expressed His Adulation For The Wonder Of Femininity. The Static Figure Has Its Arms Raised Up And Offers Slim Hands And Feet And Gives Despite Her Unnatural Appearance The Impress Of Filigree Feminine Beauty. The Post On Which The Female Sits Is Joined With A Slim Bronze Plinth And Contains The Signature Of Lachaise. The Whole Modern Art Sculpture Stands On A Marble Base And Is Made Of 100% Bronze.
