Ernst Barlach Was Born 2 January 1870 In Wedel, Schleswig-Holstein. 68 Years Later, The Famous Sculptor Died Of A Heart Attack In Rostock. One Year Before His Death, The Artist Had To Bear The Labelling Of His Works As “Degenerated Art” By The Nazis. As A Consequence, All Of His Works Were Banned From The Public Sphere.
