“Skull” Is A Modern Art Sculpture Made After An Idea Of The British Sculptor Alfred Stevens (* January 28, 1818; † May 1, 1875) And Is A Great Portray Of The Human Mortal Remains. The Sculpture Of The Scull Was Made Of 100% Bronze And Was Designed In A Very Realistic Way. The Dead Head Is Connected With A Solid Marble Base With A Skinny Staff Also Made Of The Noble Material Bronze. The Design Is Outstanding Because Stevens Didn’T Used Unnecessary Details To Perfect The Exhibit. The Last Step Was Signing The Bronze Figure.

The Bronze Sculpture “Skull” Was Created By Alfred Stevens, A Sculptor From Great Brittan. Stevens Got Early In Touch With The Subject Art Because His Father Worked As A Painter. Therefore Stevens Started To Paint Pictures When He Was A Young Boy. Later, In 1833, He Started To Study In Foreign Countries. Stevens Stayed In Venice, Rom, Milano And Many More Places And Also Worked For Other Artist During His Time As A Student. The Day He Returned To England – Nine Years After He Left His Home Country – Stevens Started To Work At The “School Of Design” In England. In 1856 He Took Part At The Competition Of The Wellington Monument And Became The Winner Of It Because He Told The Committee To Fulfil The Order For At Least 20.000 Pounds. From This Day On, The Monument Almost Influenced The Whole Life Of Stevens That Ended In 1875.
