Umberto Boccioni’S “Unique Forms Of Continuity In Space” Takes The Human Form As Its Starting Point And Attempts To Express In Bronze The Idea Of Dynamic Movement. The Draperies, Like Pieces Of Free-Flowing Armour That Cover The Figure, Appear To Be Blown By The Wind As The Figure Strides Along. The Movement Resembles Walking But Is Not Related Directly To Any Subject; It Has Become The Expression Of The Dynamic Force Of Change And Flux; It Moves Out Into The Space Surrounding It And That Space Seems Also To Press Upon It. The Sculpture Bears The Signature Of The Artist.
